I am not huge on scrapbooking, for now, but I do love to make cards! I got the cutest cards from the February card swap and I was able to use them for... Card Making 102 Teresa's Card Improvement Class :) I really got wonderful ideas on making adorable cards from the ladies I swapped with!
Here are the cards I sent in for the March Swap... I like them so much more than what I made for the February swap :))
I printed the bunny image off the computer, then I colored him in using chalk, and colored in the carrot and flower with a marker to make them really stand out. I used the chalk to age the edges a little. My favorite part was coloring, lol, as an adult coloring is so relaxing!
Yea, I am hooked... on hand carved stamps, crochet, paper crafts, letter boxing, and anything else I take a crafty interest in :-) This is the theme of my blog... I am hooked! :-)

Flower Power Card Swap
Flower Power theme, a heart, and any sentiment...those were the requirements for this swap. I am not the best at coming up with a card layout, I guess it is because I do not have that much experience with it. I looked around the web for ideas and got overwhelmed :/ I decided to just go for it, and this is what I came up with. I like the cards... had to make 9... but I am not wowed by them. I think I am unhappy with the blue lettering, it just kind of clashes with the other colors to me. I don't know... what do you think??

My latest swap, fun in the sun, Cricut
As I mentioned before, I am new to this swap thing... but so far I am loving it, and am pretty well hooked!
The swap group I have joined is called Paper Crafting Diva's and is organized by a sweet person who takes a lot of time to make these swaps happen... you can see her blog here... http://marie97-lotlot.blogspot.com/
This swap was for 4 sets of Cricut cut images that can be used for cards. They had to be embellished in a minimum of two ways, and a sentiment needed to be included .
This was a great reason to get more familiar with my Cricut. I really have wanted to use this cool cutting machine more often, and this was a perfect opportunity to do so. I really had a lot of fun with this! Take a look at what I came up with, and the card I made from the cut outs...

embellished with glitter glue polka dots
Also dotted the sun with glitter glue, and added glitter cheeks to the crab :-)
And this is the card I made with the same cut-outs. I just used a plain white card, and colored the back ground with pastels... (I am hooked on pastels :-)
Makes me want to go out and play!!
